Faith Tabernacle Church of Deliverance
of the Apostolic Doctrine of the U.S.A.

The Honorable Bishop James A. Finney.
Presiding Prelate
L. Neal Smith
Presiding Bishop L. Neal Smith

Since 2011 Bishop Smith has served as the Presiding Bishop of Faith Tabernacle Church of Deliverance of the Apostolic Doctrine Inc. Becoming the fourth presiding Bishop for the organization Bishop Smith has maintained that his goal is continue what was started by Bishop Finney, Bishop Hale, Bishop Wiggs, and Bishop O’Hannon.

Over the last twelve years we have witnessed many Milestones under the leadership of Bishop Smith. Celebrating the lives of Bishop Dukes, Bishop Hale, Elder Baker, and Deacon Thomson were some of the hardest realities of serving. When God starts to call leadership home a lot of wisdom unparted goes to the grave with them.

Nonetheless, Bishop Smith maintained a steady course moving forward. Throughout this time Bishop Smith has received many elevations of his own. Becoming the Presiding Bishop of the International Council of Bishops which is a worldwide fellowship of Bishops. Receiving an elevation to the ministry gift as Apostle, and recently to the office of Archbishop serving as the Metropolitan Bishop over Ohio and the Northeastern Portion of the United States.

Although the Lord has blessed him to reach new heights Bishop Smith will tell you that there is a lot of work to be done. Outreach is what built F.T.C.O.D. and will have to be apart of where we are headed. The Late Honorable Bishop Finney was the model for outreach, and all we have to do is follow the blueprint that he left for us.
When asked what the recipe for his longevity is? Bishop Smith always responds, “God is Faithful” With every sudden change and loss God has remained faithful.

It is with this heart of service that Bishop Smith Leads and prepares leaders to walk in the steps of those that prepared the way before us.
